Wünderball is a complex body workout fusing high intensity cardio with muscle and core conditioning. You will get a double workout in one hour: not only does the ball add extra weight, intensifying the cardio part while consistently engaging upper body muscles, it also provides a maximum challenge for core and weaker support muscles.

Honestly… I didn’t know what I was in for when I signed up for Wünderball. I’d done boot camp classes before, but after injuring my spine I was told to avoid high impact workouts. I showed up thinking, “I bet it’ll be fun, but I doubt I’ll sweat much.” Uh, after the first 10 minutes I was convinced… and that was just the warm up! Wünderball is amazing because you trick your brain into working out. You’re counting, trying to match the bounce to the beat, and the pattern is always changing. You’re having such a good time you don’t realize you’re challenging your mind and body in the best ways. And just when you think it might be over, Sabine kicks it up a notch! Even though it’s low-impact, you get a surprisingly full-body, hard-core cardio workout. You can really tailor the class to your fitness level too. Sabine’s passion for fitness is contagious… it comes from the heart. She’s authentic and genuinely wants you to move better, get stronger, and feel your absolute best. I love Wünderball and adore Sabine.

Sabine has developed a unique workout that is both challenging and fun, all while being accessible to individuals of many levels. I’m not usually a fan of cardio, but this class is so dynamic and enjoyable that I forget I’m working out- until I see the sweat dripping off me. Sabine’s passion and enthusiasm is apparent through her teaching; she not only takes the time to explain the choreography and correct form, but also offers modifications and added challenges. The energy and vibrance of the class is addicting, I leave feeling great every time!

I’ve been taking Sabine’s class for about two years, and I take it as often as I can. I weight lift on my other workout days, and the Wünderball class is a perfect complement to it, since it is great cardio and conditioning at the same time. Taking Sabine’s class has improved my agility and speed, and the more I take it, the more of a workout it is!

Sabine’s Wünderball class is one of my favorite times of the week. I do what I truly enjoy, and that time is entirely just for me. In her Wünderball class, I have to do several things like body workout, getting into the music beat, and most importantly the brain work. If I think about something else for one tenth of seconds my step and the ball are somewhere else. Her class never get boring and are always fun but challenging. After her class I get the full of energy for the day and more. I am so happy I started to take Sabine’s Wünderball class.

Wünderball demands that I disconnect from all aspects of work, life and be present in the workout. It challenges me physically in cardio as well as strength training and leaves me clear headed and refreshed; I absolutely love it. Sabine is an amazing teacher and keeps you motivated throughout this amazing workout. Keep up the great work Sabine!

What I love most about practicing w Sabine is her incredible passion, energy and intensity. This workout is no joke: we are challenged and motivated to push ourselves from start to finish. Her enthusiasm infuses into the bodies and minds of each of us and we are inspired to be our very best.

I’ve known Sabine for over 10 years and have enjoyed both her pilates and Wünderball classes. She’s an amazing instructor, with deep knowledge, training and experience. She strikes a great balance of being fun, patient and caring with her clients, but motivational at the same time. She is truly passionate about what she does, and takes pride in seeing her clients transform.

Sabine is so knowledgeable and her method of instruction is very effective. The two hour Wünderball class is a physical and mental challenge. It’s very different from your typical workout routine, high intensity aerobics combined with a strength component. Sabine keeps the energy high, motivates everyone to push themselves all the while keeping it fun! I’m so thankful I found Wünderball with Sabine.

Sabine’s Wünderball is an absolute blast. She delivers high energy, enthusiasm and technique. I always feel amazing after her class. I highly recommend this exercise it is low impact yet really tones your body making you feel recharged and euphoric.

I first found Sabine through Pilates after a back injury. An avid hiker, backpacker, and rockclimber, who grew up dancing and exercising, I was off all exercise and was considering my options for dealing with my back. Sabine’s skill and boundless enthusiasm brought me back — slowly at first and then by leaps and bounds. Fast forward one baby and 4 months of bed rest later and my back was still doing great! My first cardio class after my baby was born was Wünderball! I thought I knew what I was getting into, but really had no idea. The music, the intricate rhythms, the choreography, the pilates principals for a stable core, and again, Sabine’s boundless enthusiasm combine for the most unique cardio experience you’ll find. After five minutes I was sweating, smiling, bouncing that ball, and following Sabine’s expert cues (mostly!). I was hooked after one class.

I have never particularly enjoyed doing cardio and would not call myself naturally coordinated, but I LOVE Wünderball! With the combination of great music and her own enthusiasm, Sabine makes Wünderball available for all levels. More importantly, she makes cardio FUN. I started Wünderball with the two-hour workshops; after the second workshop, I was hooked. I re-arranged my work schedule to be able to regularly attend the one-hour class twice a week. That was a year ago. Wünderball is such an adaptable exercise that even after participating regularly for a year, I am still getting a challenging and interesting workout, as Sabine always choreographs new combinations. I would recommend Wünderball to anyone who wants to enjoy themselves while getting amazing cardio exercise!

As someone that does not enjoy working out, I have a blast every time I take a Wünderball class; I’m hooked!
I attribute it all to Sabine – she creates a fun environment while you sweat and strengthen. She not only challenges you, but she creates a judgement-free environment and reminds us to go at our own pace. I can’t help, but smile through the class, I forget that I’m working out.

Get ready to feel challenged in every way possible – cardio, strength, flexibility, and endurance! Wuenderball has it all! The combination of cardio based choreography coupled with the strength training involved in holding, bouncing, and moving with the fit ball is a challenge like no other. It will get your heart pumping and muscles feel pushed to their limit all the while being mindful of maintaining good form and staying within the Pilates principles. Sabine is a stickler for form and she cues the class continually on proper alignment which helps you work more in depth and keeps you safe from injury. Personally I have a shoulder injury which does not allow me to hold the ball for extended periods of time or lift the ball over head and yet I was able to benefit from the cardio flow portion as well as the strength training hour. I highly recommend Wuenderball for anyone looking for a complete workout that targets every part of your body! And if you get a chance to take a class with Sabine herself, you will be impressed by her positive energy, endless choreographies, and natural charm that makes the class that much more enjoyable 🙂

Sabine’s expertise in pilates was instrumental in helping me recover from a pelvic fracture and complex wrist fracture on opposite sides. With her encouragement I tried her ball class just 6 months after my accident. I was anxious since I had lost confidence in my balance and coordination. I was amazed at what an awesome cardio and total body work out it was. Low impact, very adjustable to my level and worked my mind and endurance. I wish I could take this kind of class regularly! Sabine’s amazing ability to cue her students and get her students to enjoy working hard keeps me coming back!
